Colette

From $6,500· made to your measurements

The house bodice: pleats radiating out of the seam the way a fan opens, folded by hand and pressed into place one at a time. Short here, though it will carry a floor-length skirt or a detachable train just as well.

A signature Safonova Couture gown featuring a sculptural bodice inspired by the organic curves of a seashell. Flowing lines shape the body and create a distinctive silhouette without excessive decoration.

Start with Colette

Takes you to a four-question brief with this model already attached. Visualisations are Aleksandra's own design drawings; your dress is cut for your body, in the fabric you choose.

How your Colette would be made

Nothing here is pulled off a rail. Choosing Colette starts the work: a pattern drafted from twelve of your measurements, then a toile in cheap cloth to check the shape before the wedding satin is cut. Fittings happen at the Tampa studio, or on camera if you are anywhere else. This one takes about 32 hours in the studio, spread over five to six months.

Fabric moves the price more than anything else, so swatches go out to you before a single piece is cut. The skirt shape and length can be customized.
